ATLANTIS SUBMARINE - You'll be in awe of the beauty of Maui's underwater terrain, its exotic species, aboard the world's first and most technologically advanced passenger submarine. You'll journey Maui's spectacular underwater world, view marine life only found in the Hawaiian waters, not to mention the sunken Carthaginian, a whaling ship that now sits at the bottom of the ocean. It will remind you of a ghost ship and arouse your imagination! This spectacular site has become a self-sustaining habitat for indigenous fish, coral and other marine life. It's an event you cannot miss while on Maui!!Tour Restrictions:
- Children must be a minimum of 36" in height to ride the submarine.
- Each guest is required to independently navigate a nearly vertical 10-step ladder into and out of the submarine.
MAUI OCEAN CENTER AQUARIUM - Enjoy one of Maui's most visited attractions, and get a close view of Hawaiian Marine Life, better yet, without getting wet! This is an awesome activity for people of all ages! Kids and adults alike will be in awe of the incredible quality of this top-notch aquarium; the only one featuring marine life only found in the Hawaiian waters. You will get to interact and learn about Hawaii's exquisite specimens, walk through a glass tunnel filled with exotic fish, sharks and more! The Maui Ocean Center is a "must see" attraction and it's open 7 days a week, from 9 am until 5 pm. MAUI TROPICAL PLANTATION - Experience a real Hawaiian plantation, featuring all sorts of Hawaiian fruit & flower crops, conveniently located in the heart of Maui's central district, at the feet of the majestic West Maui Mountains. Your ticket includes admission to the plantation and a very entertaining and educational 40-minute tram tour. The tram tour is available daily at 10 am, 10:45 am, 11:30 am, 12:15 pm, 1:45 pm, 2:30 pm, 3:15 pm and 4 pm. BAILEY HOUSE MUSEUM - Visit this historic mission home built in 1833, on the royal compound of Kahekili, Maui's last ruling Hawaiian chief. Located at the mouth of beautiful Iao Valley, and the former home of the Wailuku Female Seminary for Hawaiian Girls (1837-1849). It sits on a .7 acre historic site, and was placed on the National and Hawaii's Registers of Historic Places in 1972. Open Monday through Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm. The ticket you will receive from the Atlantis Submarine desk will be an open ticket, good for any day during your Maui vacation.
