Sunrise Tour: The sunrise tour arrives at Haleakala 10,023' summit to view the sunrise at the rim of the crater. You will be given a guided van tour (1 to 1 1/2 hours) of the park and will watch the sunrise at the crater. You'll then be taken just outside of the park entrance at 6,500 feet where you'll be furnished Kona mountain bikes, helmets, backpacks, rain/wind gear, gloves and a map with points of interest. Experience a self guided 23 mile bike ride down the mountain back to the base yard in Haiku.
Check-in Time: Varies with the season but will be between 3:30 & 4:00am
Hotel Pick-Up: This is for North Shore/Central, South, and West Maui
Return Time at Base Yard: Once all guests have arrived at the base yard, drop-off will commense.
Morning Tour: Enjoy a visit to the summit of Haleakala Crater before heading down the hill on a van tour of the park. Your bike ride will start at the park entrance which is at 6,500 feet. What lies before you is Maui's famous downhill. You'll drop 3,000' in 10 miles and curve around 29 switch backs. Stop often and enjoy the incredible vistas of west Maui surrounded by the Pacific. Below 4,000', you come to Upcountry Maui. vegetable farms, protea farms, lodges, galleries, and Kula botanical gardens. Further down the mountain is Makawao town which is known as Paniolo (cowboy) country. There you'll find boutiques, shops, and wonderful places to eat. This self-guided tour will be 23 miles all the way back to Bike Maui's baseyard.

Hotel Pick-up: This is for North Shore/Central, South, and West Maui
Return Time at Bike Shop: Those opting for hotel pick up must return by 2:30 PM while those driving to the shop must return their bikes by 4 PM
Transportation: You may choose to drive yourself to Bike Maui's base yard in Haiku, or to be picked up and dropped off at your hotel by Haleakala Eco Tours, avoiding having to deal with drive times and directions. The check-in and pick up times are approximate and will be determined depending on sunrise times and hotel pick up locations.
Includes: Helmet, backpack, gloves and rain/wind gear. Transportation from Haleakala EcoTours to the Summit, and a narrated tour of the national park.
