Experience Maui's East side and its famous sites such as Haleakala Crater and the Hana Rainforest.  Haleakala is a 10,000 foot inactive volcano, last erupted in 1790, where you'll be in awe of its magnificence! It is the largest dormant volcano in the world. The crater fits the entire island of Manhattan. From the crater you'll head down to Maui's East side, where waterfalls abound, as well as untouched coastlines, black & red sand beaches, sea cliffs, lava rocks and the famous Hana Road.

Activity Details

70% of Maui is completely inaccessible unless you fly!  East Maui's rainforest features several waterfalls which you could never get to just by taking the road.  The coastlines seen from the air have a completely different view than from the road.  You'll fly over the ocean and see areas which became famous for being featured in movies such as Jurassic Park and others.  Get ready for an unforgettable time!  You came to Maui... don't go back home without experiencing this awesome flight! Air Maui boasts over 20 years of flying the Maui skies with a 100% safety record!

Front seat upgrade is available for an additional $50 per seat for a maximum of 2 seats per flight.  To qualify, the combined weight between the two passengers cannot exceed 380 lbs.

Additional Information

We recommend all participants to wear dark colors in order to avoid glare (for best picture quality).

Check-in at Maui's only heliport, in Kahului. at Air Maui's hangar.  You will be welcomed by a friendly staff and receive personal check-in assistance.  Air Maui features some of Maui's most experienced pilots, with thousands of hours in flight time, and FAA-certified and factory-trained mechanics that inspect all components each day. You will feel safe and secure every step of the way.  Stop by their official retail shop where you can stock up on souvenirs as your flight is being prepared.

For obvious safety reasons it's very important that accurate weights be reported when making your reservations. Due to FAA regulations all passengers must be weighed at check-in. Those passengers weighing over 240 lbs or couples with combined weight over 420 lbs may be required to purchase a comfort seat.  If you have any questions regarding this rule please contact our reservation lines at 1-808-214-9910.
Passengers who grossly underestimate their weight may be subject to being bumped off the flight without any compensation or refund.
