Looking for an adventure for the whole family?  We've got the ticket for you! You'll get to enjoy a fun-filled, family oriented, thrilling adventure as you zipline over 5 lines with Maui Ziplines, from their headquarters, at the Maui Tropical Plantation, centrally located near Maalaea, only a few minutes from Kihei, Wailea or Lahaina resort areas. Your tour will last approximately 2 hours and features side-by-side ziplines.  You'll soar over a lush landscape, swaying palms and beautiful views of West Maui Mountains.  This is by far the most family friendly zipline course on Maui!

Electronic waiver

We have switched to a paperless waiver system and ask all guests to fill out their waiver prior to arriving at the zipline (one waiver per person).

Activity Details

You'll enjoy Maui's most family zipline course, where you'll soar over a beautiful tropical plantation, and see magnificent views of West Maui Mountains and the South Maui shoreline. You'll get fitted with top-of-the-line equipment, before beginning your adventure, which will start with a brief scenic trail walk, then you'll receive an informal, yet important safety briefing, before climbing up the first observation deck. There will be five lines, and what adds a lot to the fun, is the fact you'll have the option to zipline alongside a friend or family member for some awesome photo ops. On each line, your trained guides will narrate very interesting information on Maui's unique flora, fauna and culture.

This tour is suitable for the entire family, welcoming kids as young as five years old. If anyone is your group does not wish to zipline, they are welcome to enjoy the beautiful grounds of the Maui Tropical Plantation and even observe all of the ziplines from the lagoon area.

Requirements:

Underage Participants:
Kids ages 5-10 must have an adult join them in the tour
Kids ages 11-17 can zipline with a responsible adult present to sign waiver, who will remain in the property for the duration of the tour.
*All participants/guardians must sign a liability waiver before participating in this tour.


Weight: Between 50 & 230 lbs.
For safety reasons, a strict policy of weight restriction is enforced, and all guests will be weighed upon check-in. No refunds will be given for failure to meet this requirement.

 

Physical/Health - Participants must be: 

  • In moderately good health
  • Able to stand on your feet for 2 hours
  • Comfortable walking a few hundred yards over moderate terrain
  • Able to ascend and descend stairs
 
Not Allowed:
Pregnant women.People who have existing or recurring injuries.Those under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or anything else that impairs judgment.People with serious physical or mental disorders that would not allow you to complete the physical and mental tasks asked throughout the tour.Those who suffer from medical conditions that may require immediate medical attention.
