Not only will you learn to surf in one of the best beginner spots in Maui, you will also be instructed by some of the most skilled an passionate teachers that Maui has to offer. Whether you've never surfed before or even just a little, you will  have a great time. Taking a surf lesson in Maui is definitely the way to go! Your instructors will make sure you have a lot of fun and who knows, you just might start a whole new water hobby! You'll love the rush of riding the waves and you'll feel safe while you do it, under your instructor supervision. Three lesson options: Group, Private or Semi-Private.  Don't go home and miss this opportunity to enjoy the natural motion of the ocean by riding a wave!

Activity Details

You'll be greeted by your surfing instructor, who will teach you all the basic surfing skills on the ground, before you start riding the Maui waves.  Once in the water you'll have the opportunity to put those skills to action with your instructor's assistance.

  • Group lessons: Up to 6 participants per instructor (Must be 12 or older)
  • Semi Private: Two participants per instructor
  • Private: One participant per instructor
Additional Information

Due to safety reasons, group classes are only recommended for kids 10 & up. Parents should consider whether or not their kids should participate in a group environment based on their kids' swimming abilities and how comfortable they feel in the water.  Group lessons feature only one instructor who must pay attention to the entire group.  

Group Lesson Restrictions:
Due to safety reasons the following restrictions apply:
Kids 8-11 years old MUST join a SEMI-PRIVATE or PRIVATE lesson
Kids ages 7 & younger MUST join a PRIVATE (1 on 1) lesson
